Character artist
Terms & conditions
By filling out a form requesting a commission, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please be sure to read these in full BEFORE requesting a commission.
ALL CLIENTS MUST BE 18+
OWNERSHIP - The client asserts and maintains ownership of any original characters used in the work OR affirms express permission to use the characters. (e.g. You want ship art of your character and a friend's, by requesting the commission you are asserting you have your friend's express permission to do so.) The artist maintains the right to post the work on social media or in portfolios but not in for-profit galleries. Upon receipt of the full payment amount and being given the full-res version of the final work, the client obtains rights to unlimited personal use of the work. The client does not maintain the right to use the work on a commercial basis unless negotiated otherwise. (e.g. the client may not sell merch of the work or publish the work in a for-profit medium without having negotiated this with the artist prior to doing so.)
PAYMENT - Upon the artist's acceptance of a commission, the artist will begin work on a rough sketch draft of the work (henceforth referred to as First Sketch). This First Sketch will be sent to the client for approval or changes as needed. Upon approval of the First Sketch, 50% of the total price will be due to the artist in an agreed upon payment method. Upon receiving this payment, the artist will send the client confirmation of receipt and will begin working on the piece. Upon completion of the finished work, the artist will send the client a low-res version to allow for any required last-minute edits, of which 3 are allowed per piece at no extra charge (additional edits will incur up to a 25% additional fee, according to the artist's judgment). Upon approval of the final work, the remaining 50% of the total price will be due to the artist in an agreed upon payment method. Upon receiving this payment, the artist will send the client confirmation of receipt and the full-res version of the final work. (NOTE: All prices are in USD. It is the client's responsibility to ensure currencies are converted appropriately. All payments must be done through a "Goods & Services" payment method, to protect both the client and the artist.)
TIPS - Tips are accepted at any point throughout the process, however they are 100% non-refundable. As such, they MUST be paid separately in case a refund is required. Tips paid before completion of the work do NOT count towards the total cost of the work and any random payments received by the artist will require clarification on whether it's (1) a tip, (2) a payment made towards the total amount, or (3) a rush fee. If the client does not respond to clarify this within 72 hours of clarification being requested, the amount paid will be regarded as a tip and will therefore be non-refundable. (Please note the 3rd option must be negotiated before it is paid.)
DECLINE OF OFFERS - The artist maintains the right to decline any commission request for any reason. These reasons may include but are not limited to; inappropriate subject matter (please see "WILL NOT DRAW"), underage client, or incomplete form.
PRIORITY OF OFFERS - All offers are on a first-come, first-serve basis on a 2-month turnaround time, and the artist will do their very best to abide by this. However, should you need your work to be completed in a more timely manner, an additional "rush fee" of up to 50% the total price may be negotiated for a quicker turnaround.
CANCELLATION OF WORK - The artist maintains the right to cancel work for the client at any point during the process, offering a full refund if cancellation is initiated by the artist. A refund of up to the total amount of the work is available if the client initiates the cancellation, with refund amount depending on work done. (e.g. If the work is completed and the full high-res version has been provided to the client prior to cancellation, there will be no refund. If the work is on the final stages and the client is unhappy with the final results after approving the piece on multiple occasions, a refund of up to 50% the total price may be applied, according to the artist's judgment. If only the First Sketch has been completed, a full refund may be offered, according to the artist's judgment.)
WILL NOT DRAW - The artist will not draw the following: artworks which are pedophilic or incestuous in nature, artworks of a sexual non-consensual nature, artworks which are fetishistic in nature, artworks which are racist or otherwise bigoted in nature. (NOTE: If an accepted commission falls under one of these categories without the client informing the artist, and the artist finds out after the fact, the commission will be immediately cancelled with no refund available.)

Can I use your art in an AI image generator? | Absolutely NOT. I do not support AI-generated images at this time, nor do I anticipate supporting them in the near or distant future. Currently they serve only to steal from artists across multiple avenues, and until such time as artists' concerns are appropriately addressed, I will not be supporting anything related to them. |
Can I use your art for NFTs? | Absolutely NOT. NFTs and related cryptocurrency are at best a scam exemplifying the dystopian world in which we live and at worst a danger to the planet. I'm not interested in supporting either one of these now or ever. |
Can I pay you in bitcoin/dogecoin/crypto? | Nope. The value of USD is imaginary enough for me, thank you. |
Can I use your art as an avatar/icon/background/etc.? | Yes! As long as you provide permanent, visible, linked credit, you are welcome to use my art for anything of that sort. The only exceptions would be commissions and art of other people's ocs. If you want to use any of that art, you must get permission from the commissioners or the owners of the ocs. |
What about RP graphics? | Also yes! The same rules as above apply; you must provide visible, linked credit in the post itself and at a font size no smaller than the majority of the text in the post, and any use of commissions or other people's ocs requires their permission. |
If I shove a reblog of your art in a #credit tag, does that count? | Only for avatars/icons/backgrounds, and only if you have that tag linked somewhere easily-accessible and permanent. RP graphics such as promo images must have the link provided in the promo post itself at a font size no smaller than the majority of the text in the post. |
Can I cosplay one of your designs? | Absolutely! I would be so honored! All I ask for is credit and for you to send me pics because holy cow that would be so cool. Hell if I can afford it, I might even send you a free print and/or sticker of the design as a thank-you because that's so much work. |
